Student Immersion Trips

Deep South Trip
Embark on a journey for justice.

Our Deep South experiential learning trip invites middle and high school students to step beyond the classroom and engage directly with the history, people, and places that have shaped America. Through immersive visits to museums, memorials, and historic sites, students will explore the history and lasting impact of racial injustice in the American South, examine how our nation’s past continues to influence present-day social divisions, and consider how they can help create a more just and inclusive future. Along the way, they’ll experience the rich culture, stories, food, and communities of the South while learning to see history through new perspectives.

Indonesia trip
Embark on a journey of discovery.

Our experiential learning trip to Indonesia gives middle and high school students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the country’s rich spiritual and cultural diversity. Across Jakarta, Bali, and Ubud, students will explore vibrant communities, visit temples, mosques, museums, galleries, and sacred sites, and gain insight into how Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam coexist and intersect across the archipelago. From experiencing traditional music and dance to hiking Mt. Ijen and biking through rural villages, this 8-day journey connects students with the traditions, landscapes, and ways of life that make Indonesia so unique.
